Coco

Coco was reported to our hotline by a Good Samaritan. She was padlocked to a fence for several hours a day, unable to comfortably sit or lay, and unprotected from the elements. We engaged the owners, provided education, then arranged for on-site vetting to vaccinate her. We replaced her heavy chain and padlock with a lightweight tether, and we provided durable toys, healthy treats and a sturdy dog house. Coco’s owners later installed a privacy fence, making it possible for Coco to be off her tether completely. She’s also primarily an indoor dog, now, and we visit her frequently.
